The design of window with wire mesh and mosquito gauze to many houses has been increasing every now and then. Though the design suites for ventilation especially in hot regions and provides barrier against mosquitoes, but in case of theft, the design is not that efficient as there is no burglar detection system to many of these window designs. The kind burglar detection systems present are only for aluminum and wooden windows.
Therefore, burglars take advantage of stealing things from these houses by making an opening on a window wire mesh and taking things from the house by using magnetic devices or hooks. This kind of theft is mostly in night hours. The best solution to this problem is to design the house window burglar detection system. The system that will be capable of giving an alarm when the wire mesh is cut. Also giving an electric pulse to threaten the burglar so that he/she stops tempering the wire mesh. The system will also be capable of operating even when TANESCO mains go off, by using a rechargeable battery.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
At KAWE UKWAMANI burglar through windows has led to drawback of lives of many house dwellers. Also many of the landlords has been facing challenges is setting rental price to their tenants as insecurity. Draws them out of competition especially for those whose houses are located in clustered street.
The left opening on the window mesh allow snake, cats ,rats and harmful insects like mosquito’s to pass through.
SIGNIFICANCE OF PROJECT
The system will be cheap and easy to install even to normal residents.
Reduces the cost for employing security guards hence saves money and protects properties against burglars.
The system will favor the landlords in setting rental prices according to the worth of the, house including its security status.

EXISTING SYSTEM
Generally windows are the basic things, because they are used to enter sufficient air and allow the sunlight in the room during the day. That helps the house dweller to obtain aeration, sunlight in the house during the day time. The windows consist of the frame of wood, wire mesh, mosquito window and some piece of arranged iron for security. Burglar are cutting the mosquito window and wire mesh to entering some kind of stick to stolen the telephone, money, portable computer and other luxurious things during the mid-night when the people are asleep or they are not around.
The new proposed system will have the circuit that protects the window mesh electrically. The system offers the most reliable window mesh protection by detecting intruders trying to cut through the wire mesh. It is suitable for most kinds of window wire mesh designs and can be easily to install.
When the person will touch the touch sensor will allow the current to flow from he/she up to the base of transistor. But allow the signal to flow up to microcontroller then the microcontroller will send the signal up to buzzer will start to giving out the sound at the some time red LED will be on.

It is my hope that the future work of this project will able to specifically detect the disturbances which are 90% probable by a burglar.

RECOMMENDATION
Any person who is willing to modify and improve the circuit has access to do so, by either employing the use of battery in case when the power supply is OFF to ensure the continuity of the operation.
