AN ELECTRICAL MONITORING SYSTEM FOR PRAYERS SESSIONS

The project aims at designing an electrical alerting system which will alert the multitude attending the prayers to observe well praying sessions on specified time. currently uses a manual operated method to inform the priests, sisters, seminarians, and lay believers gathered for the prayers by knocking the sitting bench. It is difficult for a timekeeper to be always on time because of being tired and concentration on self prayers.


MAIN OBJECTIVES.

The main objective is to alert the multitude attending the prayers to observe the prayers sessions on the specified time.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PROBLEM.

The system will be more reliable.
It will help the multitude gathered for the prayers to concentrate on prayers.
It will help the timekeeper to concentrate with self-prayers than watching time.

LITERATURE REVIEW.

In order to archive the goals of this project, the proposed system will solve the problems in the existing system.

EXISTING SYSTEM.

In the existing system the timekeeper is the one who knocks the sitting bench to inform the prayers sessions.

DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM.

The sound heard from a knock of a sitting bench sometimes may not be heard by all people attending the prayers.
The timekeeper may forget to knock the sitting bench.

PROPOSED SYSTEM.

A timer will monitor time in the proposing system. Then the buzzer and a lamp will indicate different prayers sessions which the multitude attending the prayers will follow.

ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM.

People will be able to observe well the prayers sessions.
All people attending the prayers will hear the sound of the buzzer.

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF A PROPOSED CIRCUIT.

When you apply the power supply to the system, the switch S2 is switching ON. Relay R1 energizes and will hold ON. Power will pass through NC of T4, NO of R1 and NC of T1 then lamp L1 will light. The timer T1 will ON delay for five minutes. So Relay R2 energizes, T2 will close contacts and lamp L2 will light. Timer T2 will ON Delay for five minutes. Relay R3 will energize, Timer T3 will activate then lamp L3 will light. Relay R4 energizes and timer T4 will be active. Timer T4 will ON Delay for 5 seconds then NC of T4 will open the circuit and then R1 will release automatically.

DATA COLLECTION.

CONCLUSION

This circuit is applicable only when the multitude are gathering for the morning prayers.

RECOMMENDATION

As the working principal of this circuit, I recommend it to be used also as the alarm system for exams especially Dinning Hall exams.
